A man who pulled a woman off a city street over the weekend, held a knife to her throat and ordered her to disrobe was charged Monday with kidnapping and tampering with evidence, police said.
Christopher Lucas, 35, of the 1600 block of Lake Boulevard, was sent to the Schenectady County jail without bail.
According to Lt. Pete Frisoni, the woman, who police are not identifying, was walking on Duane Avenue near Kelton Avenue early Saturday morning when Lucas grabbed her by the hair and pulled her into his house, which is about a block away.
